France à Vélo Team

Christiane Trégouet

Manager | Responsible for booking guided tours in France and around the world | Guide German – French

Originally from Stuttgart, and with extensive experience in tourism and group travel in particular, I’ve been in France since 1993. I qualified in Germany and went on to become a French/German tour guide. I then combined my passion for bicycle travel with my artistic and cultural knowledge.

From February to October, I spend most of my time traveling, guiding groups in France, Europe and around the world. So, as you can see, I’m passionate about adventure and travel! Although it’s not easy to choose among the many tours on offer, I do have a preference for the landscapes of the Breton coast and Finistère.

I love sharing my experiences, and would be delighted to discuss bike travel and all that makes traveling by bike so charming!

See you soon!

Philippe Trégouet

Manager | Bicycle repairer | Driver | Pro of organized picnics

A former triathlete, cycling has always been more than just a sport for me, it’s been a real passion. Whether on a mountain bike in the woods or on the road, I always enjoy discovering the surrounding area by bike. I like circuits with lots of climbs, and my favorite stage is Mont Ventoux at sunrise.

I’ve been able to bring my enthusiasm and technical knowledge to the team. Thanks to this, we are able to organize and manage over 200 bikes.

I love being in contact with people, especially when it comes to accompanying Christiane on her guided tours. While she’s guiding, I’m in charge of the logistics, making sure that every trip runs smoothly. I organize assistance, luggage and bike transfers, and prepare picnics for lunch. My culinary skills are also much appreciated by foreigners, especially with our German customers, because as a Frenchman, I tend to want to give an unforgettable flavour to the region’s produce at picnics.

Always with a smile, good humor and energy to spare, I make sure that everything is perfect so that everyone can enjoy the trip to the full!

Valérie Azézian

Responsible for travel bookings | Guide German – French

I started working at France à Vélo 20 years ago! I could almost say I’m part of the furniture. My job is my passion. My pleasure: being in contact with customers and making their vacations one of their best memories.

Having previously worked for several years on wine estates, I’m particularly fond of wine tourism tours, and enjoy guiding people around France. Among all our magnificent regions, my favorites are Bordeaux, Burgundy and Alsace.

You’ll also meet me when I welcome you on individual tours of France by bike in Burgundy, or on guided trips by bike or minivan. When I’m not on the roads of France, I don’t get bored either, between my work at the office and the various interventions and luggage transfers. There’s no time to lose…

In short, you’ll understand that I’ve never seen these 20 years go by…

Eléna Dresse

Responsible for travel bookings in Europe | English – French guide | Communications & graphic designer

Originally from Belgium, I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world and discover many different countries. These experiences have enriched me and fueled my passion for travel.

I joined the agency in February 2024 as Communications Officer. I’m in charge of writing our newsletters, publishing on social networks, producing all communication media and working on the design and updating of our website.

Alongside this, I’m also responsible for travel bookings in Europe. I ensure that every detail of their trip is taken care of, making sure that their itineraries, accommodations and services are perfectly organized.

When I’m not transferring luggage, I also guide cycling groups. I’ve guided a group of 10 Canadians in North Burgundy, a group of 28 Alsatians in Brittany, and a group of 11 Frenchmen in the Loire Valley. What I love about this job is the variety of tasks and the fact that I’m in contact with our customers. That’s why I love welcoming them and talking to them.

I’m looking forward to what the new year has in store for us, and I’m ready to take on new challenges and share great experiences with you!

Madhumita Guichard

Responsible for travel bookings & partnerships (Decathlon Travel) | Responsible for our travel application

In May 2024, I joined the French cycling team. I’m in charge of booking individual trips in France. Bookings are pouring in!

I’m also in charge of managing and updating our travel application, which is a very practical tool for our customers, as it allows them to follow their itinerary day by day directly from their phone. They can visualize the route of their trip, discover points of interest, and even access restaurant recommendations, information on places to visit and the hotels where they’ll be staying. I make sure that all the necessary information is gathered and kept up to date, to ensure that your experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

In addition to this, I work in partnership with Decathlon Travel, which enables us to offer additional, high-quality services to our customers.

I love exploring new places and meeting new cultures. As you can see, travel is very much a part of me!

Jean Luc

Logistics and repairs manager | Mechanic | Luggage & bike transfer

Since 2022, I’ve been part of the French cycling team. Since my arrival, I’ve been looking after the bikes, repairing them most of the time. When I’m not repairing, I’m often on the road transferring luggage or dropping off bikes.

On top of that, I’m also in charge of accompanying people on guided trips. I’m there to organize picnics for groups, making sure everything runs smoothly during breaks. And of course, I’m always ready to step in if there’s a problem, whether it’s assistance or something unforeseen.

I look after all the bikes, repairing and looking after them. Always in a good mood, I make sure that everything runs smoothly for our customers. I love what I do, and I always enjoy making sure that every detail is taken care of so that everything runs smoothly.

It’s a job that’s close to my heart and allows me to combine my passion for cycling with my desire to help others.

François

French – German travel guide

Since 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of accompanying cycling tours in Normandy and Brittany, and this is already my 3rd consecutive year guiding these groups. These two regions are really my passion, and my aim is to help you discover them from every angle, from a cultural, culinary and much more point of view!

What I love most are convivial picnics and original restaurants offering excellent value for money. I always try to anticipate our customers’ needs and expectations so that they have a great vacation. Anecdotes and fond memories abound and are an integral part of every trip, making each experience unique and memorable.

Thank you all for your trust, and I look forward to seeing you on the roads of Normandy and Brittany for more shared moments!

The seasonal team

The seasonal team is a real strength throughout the year, and can reach up to 10 people in high season. Whether it’s transferring luggage, greeting customers, delivering bikes or managing reservations, every day is filled with varied and exciting tasks.

Our trainees play an essential role, helping to make our customers’ experience smooth and enjoyable. Thanks to their help, we’re able to take some of the pressure off in high season, and we’re always happy to have them on board. The atmosphere is always lively and full of good humor, because as we like to say at France à Vélo, there’s never a dull moment!
