On this cycle tour, you will discover the most picturesque sides of the neighbouring French region – Alsace. You cycle through picturesque villages that are bursting with charm. You will discover the diversity of Alsatian wines and experience the hospitality and conviviality of its inhabitants. In a short time, you will see a region that stands out in France.

Characteristics of this journey/holiday

Day by day

Day 1 Colmar

Arrival in Colmar. Start by discovering the picturesque old town with its numerous museums, half-timbered houses and wine taverns. A leisurely stroll through the town will allow you to relax and get ready for your cycling tour.

Day 2 Colmar – Rouffach 44 km

You leave Colmar and start your cycling tour with a tour through the Munster Valley. There you reach Soultzbach les Bain. You then cycle through the Ballon des Vosges National Park and vineyards to Rouffach.

Day 3 Rouffach – Kaysersberg  42 km

Today you will cycle through the vineyards and pass through delightful villages that characterise Alsatian charm.

You have the opportunity to stop at various wine cellars for a wine tasting. Next you reach Kaysersberg. A beautiful town with medieval houses and an interesting history.

Day 4 Kaysersberg – Colmar 35 km

You leave Kaysersberg and travel through the vineyards to Riquewihr and Hunawihr. They are among the most beautiful villages in France.

Before you reach Colmar again via the wine route, you continue along picturesque paths towards Ribeauvillé. Another remarkable medieval village with a rich cultural heritage.

Day 5 Abreise

After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye. “A bientôt”.
