Day 1 Bastia
Transfer from Bastia airport to your hotel. This will give you time to explore the capital of the Haute-Corse region. The old port there is beautiful, as are the freely accessible citadel and the old town, which offers a magnificent panorama of the sea and the surrounding area. Day 2 Bastia – Centuri 55 or 69 km
In the morning, you start your day by taking your bike and heading north on a road that leads along the coast, through the wooded interior and to the other side of the island with its beautiful cliffs. Several Genoese and Paolinian towers line the way, as well as old monasteries and mills. The marinas with their small fishing harbors are beautiful. Day 3 Centuri – Saint Florent 56 or 60 km
You leave Cap Corse and head south to Saint-Florent. Depending on which route you choose, you can discove the village of Patrimonio, which is famous throughout Corsica for its vineyards. Wine tastings are available in the village’s wine cellars. The viewpoints over the Gulf of Saint-Florent are beautiful along the entire route. Day 4 Saint Florent – Monticello 51 or 82 km
Today you set off into the heart of the Agriates desert. From hamlet to hamlet, you cross this beautiful desert and get closer to the sea again. Depending on the route you choose, you can take a path that leads you to the heights of Balagne, where you can enjoy magnificent landscapes before descending back to the coast with its Genoese towers. You will soon reach Monticello, your evening stop. Don’t miss the sunset over the tip of the islands. Overnight stay in ***hotel.
Day 5 Monticello – Calvi 40 or 50 km
On this day you will cross the splendid villages of Balagne with their singing names, Sant’Antonino, Pigna and many others that will welcome you with open arms. Stroll through the squares that are places for unusual encounters with the elderly, immortalize the remains of rural heritage such as fountains and washhouses or the stones of an old manor house steeped in history. Do not hesitate to open the door to the craftsmen’s workshops, which are a living reminder of ancient knowledge and craftsmanship. Now open your eyes and enjoy these quiet moments to the full, where the landscapes of Balagne will reveal their beauty as you turn down an alley or across a square! Day 6 Calvi 79km
Calvi is a small paradise where life is good: an azure blue beach overlooked by mountains (natural barrier: the massif of Monte Cinto) and a rock on which a medieval town (a beautiful Genoese citadel from the 13th century) is perched. You have the choice of using your free day to explore the surroundings of Calvi and its beaches, or taking a 79 km round trip to Galéria. Overnight stay in a hotel***.
