Day 1 Arcachon
Arrive in Arcachon, a charming seaside resort on the Atlantic coast. Start by strolling through the town center, with its 19th-century villas and typical covered market. Take time to relax on Arcachon’s beach or discover the Ile aux Oiseaux, accessible by boat.
Day 2 Arcachon
On this day in Arcachon, you’ll have the opportunity to take an excursion to Cap Ferret, a veritable showcase of nature. Day 4 Parentis – Contis 46 km
Departing from Parentis, start your journey through the Landes forest, with its vast expanses of pine trees. Along the way, stop off at Lac de Parentis, ideal for a break in the heart of nature. Once you’ve arrived in Contis-les-Bains, enjoy the wild beaches, the promenade along the seafront and the Contis lighthouse, with its panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean
Day 5 Contis – Capbreton 60 km
Leaving Contis, you first drive along wild beaches and then through the Landes forest. In Mimizan, you can stop off in the charming town center and on the beaches. As you approach Capbreton, don’t miss out on discovering the mouth of the Adour, with its seascapes and fishing ports. In Capbreton, you can stroll along the port, enjoy the beaches and discover the lighthouse, an excellent vantage point from which to admire the coast.
Day 6 Capbreton – Biarritz 35 km
From Capbreton, discover lively seaside resorts like Hossegor, renowned for its surfing atmosphere and lagoons. Along the way, you can explore the dunes and pine forests typical of the region. Arriving in Biarritz, you’ll be seduced by its elegant architecture, its famous Rocher de la Vierge and its popular surfing beaches. Don’t miss the sea museum and the spectacular view from the Biarritz lighthouse.
Day 7 Biarritz – Hendaye 30 km
Start by skirting the lively beaches of Biarritz, before discovering the charming village of Anglet with its wild beaches and coastal paths. Crossing the Marais d’Orx nature reserve, you’ll enjoy a beautiful nature break with its ponds and birds. Arriving in Hendaye, you’ll be greeted by the fine sandy beach and the superb panorama of the Rocher de la Vierge in Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
