Day 1 Colmar
Arrival in Colmar. Time to stroll through this beautiful city with its rich historical past: Little Venice and its canals, the Pfister House, the Bartholdi Museum, the Place de l’Ancienne Douane.
Day 2 Colmar – Soultzbach – Guebwiller 41 km
You leave the city and cycle to Soultzbach. Now you are between the Munster valley and Ballons des Vosges, a breath talking natural parc. Then, you cycle to Guebwiller, a tiny village nestled in the Valley on the banks of the Lauch River. Your hotel is located on the edge of a small romantic lake.
Day 3 Guebwiller – Kaysersberg 41 km
You leave the city along the vineyards of the great crus to Rouffach. You will discover outstanding landscapes punctuated by typical villages as Eguisheim, crowned “Favourite Village of the French” in 2013. Take a stroll in the heart with its fountains, school and ramparts. Your day ends in Kaysersberg after an Alsatian wine tasting in Kintzheim.
Day 4 Kaysersberg – Obernai 54 km
Today’s stage is a bit sportier. You cycle on the road of the vineyards and cross the villages of Riquewihr and Ribeauvillé. From Saint Hippolyte you can see the famous Château du Haut Koenigsbourg. You cycle to Barr then Obernai where you enjoy the tranquillity and charm of your hotel.
Day 5 Obernai – Colmar 64 km
The last cycling day takes you from Obernai towards Sélestat, nestled between the Vosges massif and the plain of the Ried, true refuge of biodiversity. Your stage ends in Colmar, enjoy a last evening around a delicious Alsatian meal.
Day 6 Departure
After breakfast it is time to say good-bye to this picturesque and flowery area.
